Theory help: design a strategy vs a large 3bet
Villain is a reg who 3bets Hero a lot
Villain sizes are on the bigger side. If I open 2 I got 3bet to 11, if I open to 2.2 I got 3bet to 13.
Given this initial info how would you structure your strategy and what additional stat would you look at?

Mathematically speaking, the larger you size your 3bets the more you risk, and so you should be 3betting light less. You should be looking at his 3bet% stat to get an idea of his strategy. From the caller's perspective, the larger the 3bet sizing, the smaller the SPR on the flip, so you need more equity vs his range in order to call profitably. So by default you should be tightening your calling range. However if he's 3betting say 9% and above, I would be open raising a little tighter (in late position when he's more likely to 3bet me) and therefore would be required to fold less / 4bet more frequently to apply pressure on his strategy.
