BB: $100
UTG: $149.59
HJ: $198.61
CO: $144.33 (Hero)
Preflop ($1.50) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt Q K
UTG folds, HJ folds, Hero raises to $3, BN folds, SB calls $2.50, BB calls $2
Flop ($9.00) J 2 A (3 Players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $6, SB calls $6, BB folds
Turn ($21.00) J 2 A 9 (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $13, SB calls $13
River ($47.00) J 2 A 9 8 (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $38, SB calls $38

I only had 6 hands on him so utterly an unknown player.

Less than full could mean a fish also.

How would you play it from pre to post?

Since he is not fullstacked i assume is not the best reg out there.

Cbet MW is fine i guess with the gutshot + BDFD.
I would bet turn little bigger we got great equity and i think they tend to fold a little more than they should to bigger turn on turn.
River would bet a sizing AQ might want to call, since hes fishy i expect allot of calls from Ax.

i would like to hear other opinions on cbetting this flop against unknowns , maybe some deeper analysis on how is our equity good enough here considering villains rages and assumed fold equity... i m not too excited about this cbet ... AJ8 i m definitely not cbetting here

Standard hand. The SB range would be tighter but i still wont give anyone credit for anything until your turn bet is called. Then its a matter of 'feel'. From experience some villains give away that they not folding the river after calling the turn - i see a turn snap call with a hand they are being stubborn with and not folding, especially on this board type. In fact, more because of the board type. Top pair Aces is a hand not easily relinquished by most players (and sometimes rightfully so).

As an added benefit KQ high beats some of the draws he may have called with, unless he has exactly Ahh or a very loose Kh2h, Qh2h or 3h2h? He can call the flop with QT that picks up an OESD OTT. And some Jx calls the flop only to fold to the turn barrel.

If you want to start bluffing these boards pick this hand to do it with

I would shove the river, reason being that he should have Ax at the very least and maybe even a hand like AJ. I don´t think he´ll be herofolding a (good) A, and definitely not AJ. A shove makes the least sense, so he might be very comfortable to snap your "bluff".

Looks good, though I think you can bet bigger.

No need to bet bigger on the flop, though. This is kind of a hit-or-miss board, so your fold equity doesn't really improve with a big bet. No need to bet more than 6.

I definitely would bet bigger on the turn. He'd likely c/r AJ, and you have blockers to AQ/AK, which probably 3-bet pre anyway. So since he doesn't have many top pair combos, you need to put on a lot of pressure.
About 15-18 seems cool.

By betting bigger on the turn, you can jam the river. It's still probably the best play, since the runout gives him a bunch of two pair etc. Hands like J9s, QT etc. probably find a call.

It's also a good bet GTO wise, though that doesn't really matter here.

Edit: I didn't really the flop was 3-way. That makes Villians range stronger, so you should be more inclined to bomb the river.
