The Grinder's Manual & NL10
Hello RIO!
I've been reading and taking notes from The Grinder's Manual (TGM) whilst playing NL10 on Bet365 poker and have a few questions. I've only played around 9k hands (lost 8 buyins in the last 1.5k hands, currently running at 1.2bb/100) but I'm a little confused.
Is TGM a good starting point for the Micros? Or would I be better served with a video series or maybe some of Blackrain79's content instead? I have basic understanding of poker and have won a couple of online tournaments since 2014, but I've never really started to dedicate time to learning and improving until now. I'm not too sure what my long term goals are, I just know I would like to be a profitable player at 25nl by the end of the year, if possible.
Alongside TGM, I would also like to begin watching some videos as I feel I learn better with a mixture of material. I assume this has been asked many times, but could someone point me in the right direction to some RIO videos which I could benefit from whilst playing in the micros?
I understand that 9k hands is a super small sample size, but I would love it if someone could take a look at my stats and graph so far and let me know if they can see any huge leaks already.
Thank you for your time.

Hey Shreddie,
1) TGM is one of the best books atm, forget blackrain's book: it worked 5 years ago but now the field is harder than before so I wouldn't trust it much.
2) As you said, 9k is a super small sample.
Also, it's even harder if you put stats by position, because they are meaningless on this sample.
3) Are you Italian? DM me if you want.
I see. I’ll continue playing and post more accurate stats once I reach 25k hands.
I’ve been enjoying TGM so far, I can tell my game is improving already, just wanted some clarification & im English!:)
Thank you for your response!
Also, PT4 provides a very powerful tool: it's called Leak Analysis.
You can find it following this path:
On PT4 -> View stats -> Leak Tracker -> Run analysis.
Thank you, again.
I’ll take a look at this feature now:)
