tesla79 blog II. - How big is yours? Mine is...

Hi There!

Nowdays I wonder everyone give advice here, but you really can't know what they results are.

So, here is mine:

I really want to see what others can make on micro limits today.
Can you show me yours? :-)

The other thing. You can see, NL50 is like a brick wall for me.
What do you think? Is there a huge difference from NL50?
May I have to beat that by my previous results so far?

NL25 is Pokerstars/Full Tilt, NL20/NL30 is Ongame.

Thanks for your attention!

Best regards, Guys! T79

More seriously, I don't have a big enough sample to answer.

  • Actually playing NL20 6max (no zoom) and making 5.3bb/100 on 25K hands on stars
  • On winamax I was making about 8bb/100 in NL20 6max (no zoom) on 80K hands.
  • I played NL50 a bit 2/3 years ago and was breakeven in ajusted EV (50K hands about) but I used to play MTT at the time and it was one of the first time I played CG so I was probably making some huge mistakes.
  • Played some NL10 too and had a ridiculous winrate of 20bb/100 but a few sample (something like 20K hands)
  • The rest is MTT/SNG so useless for you imo

Because I don't have the bankroll for at the moment and I just moved from MTT to CG so I need to improve my game. But I will if my winrate is still good and I have the BR for :)

Hey, man! Good thread. I know that many people browsing the forums doubt if the guys posting here actually make money at this game, or are just some spewtards sharing their 'theories' that just don't work in reality.

Anyway, here we go. Not a big sample, I know, but my computer would explode with a huge db, so I have to purge it every once in a while.

Oh, and if anyone wants some more graphs, there are a few in my old thread:

Keep working hard, guys! GL at the tables :)

Hi!
To answer some of your questions... The best regs have losing streches of over 50K hands, so I would'nt worry to much about that. From my experience I'd say that a winrate would drop around 30-40% when moving up a limit (obviously not when your a crusher that for some reason was playing way below skill level...).
I believe that you need around 250K hands to know your 'real' winrate, however, the games might change faster than most people can play 250K hands, so you might never get to know your winrate :-)

Anyway, my results so far on full ring since I made the switch back from 6-max....

Why would you switch back from 6-max? That's just so cruel. :(
Anyway, looks like it's all good so far. Keep going!

@ taaazz: Because I sucked at it, I'm a nit you know... :-)
@ tesla: Planning to move up when I cleared my cashbonus. Probably 3 more weeks... I've played higher before but had to move down because of brm...

A little bigger sample from me. I think it's a nice idea to keep this thread going and update it frequently to motivate ourselves and learn from each other.

Anyway, GL at the tables!

Thanks, guys! Graph's from all over the micros, basically (10, 25 mostly). It also includes my graph from party where i where i was spewing like crazy at the beginning. :D

@All-in:

6-9 when i play reg tables, or 4x zoom, usually

Lievaai 9 years, 11 months ago

@ taaazz: Nice graph there!
@ All-in: I average around 750h/hr. I play 16 reg tables max. Gonna start mixing in some zoom games in the beginning of the session though as the first 30 minutes, I don't have enough tables which affects my h/hr big time...
