Decided to 4b here because SB's his range is pretty wide and want to avoid playing a multiway pot OOP with AKo

I had no idead what to do here and what hands are in villian his range. c/f seemed really weak to me against a fish this big and b/f pointless. So decided to shove because of the little equity my overs give if villain called with Qx.
So basically the shove on the flop was a bit of 'error-overload'. In hindsight it might be better to c/f. What do you guys think?

He's never folding better and he isn't calling with worse.
Dont get me wrong, i dont like shoving OTF. But sometimes fish feel outplayed and call with worse.
Yeah don't like it. I would x/f.
You are never folding out a Q here, which obv you are a big dog to when he calls with one. He might fold a 7 or 3 but he shouldn't have a 7 or a 3 in his range anyway unless he has 33.77, which obviously he continues with (however he is a massive fish so you can't really discount stupid hands)
First of all? Is that 4 Bet sizing standart or is it exploitive vs fish? If its standart make it a little bit smaller PRE.
Mhm. "Btn is a huge fish" doesnt say anything about his tendencies. 70/0 (do u have sample btw?) So. Do u have any Postflop reads on him? Is he a sticky staionary fish or does he fit or folds? If he is a passiv station (seems like when he has 70/0?) there is no point in betting OTF. You have two overs and AKh SDV. x/F the flop vs passiv fish isn´t weak btw. given the fact that the Q is the most scarry card for our Hand OTF in 4Betpot. Eventual he calls your 4Bet with QQ // AQ (altough you block it) and some other Qx. But he also can have any pair and rndm broadways when he is that sticky non believing gambler. Try to check it down and fold if he makes some kind of action OTF or later streets, unless your hand improves. If he is that kind of fish who wants to see every flop and then fit or folds make it 2,40<->2,80 or something. Dont think B/F is pointless vs that kind of fish. As you said, u didnt know what to do, so you shoved and i think it´s the worst play here OTF as you point out yourself.
Vs Aggro spazzer fish u should shove it PRE btw.
How would u play that Flop vs REG btw?
Thanks guys, much appreciated. Yeah, after reading this x/f is def the best option. Going over this hand I realized I tend to hugely overplay decent hands against fish. So def going to fix that.
Your welcome m8. Please let me know how do you play this flop vs a Reg?
Start with a check and call a small bet, fold to a shove or larger sizing.
Also with a fish in the pot either flat or 4b to pot so the SPR is much lower when you shove the flop if called.
I dont like x/c here vs Fish, expecting most fish beeing very honest in 4BP, even against a small bet (unless he bets 1-5BB). Dont forget that you commit to the pot when you x/c here a small/med bet, SPR getting so low, which makes it disastrous to fold OTT when we dont improve. Also we are drawing thin, we are may nearly drawing dead vs. QQ and only have 3 outs vs AQ.
Your shove is bad imo. I'd XF vs a fish and not feel bad about it.
So what if this was vs a reg? x/f still the best option? A reg's calling range pre is very heavy on AQ/AK and pocketpairs (TT+), so this would also be a x/f right? Or is b/f better to fold out TT & JJ?
If villain plays anything like the BTN did, he is not a (good) reg. :D
I would check/fold pretty much anyone, unless he bets small.
@Samu. Aggree with you. Lets say BU squezze, SB folds, hero 4Bets, flops comes same way as above.
Assuming that BTN is a decent reg, his range is probably the following: bunch of AK combinations, occasional AQ, occasional JJ/QQ and occasional AA/KK. Most of the time he's gonna have AK.
Versus this range the best play is to check and fold if he shoves. If he bets small I would call because he can have occasional ATs and we have overs vs JJ or something.
If flop and turn goes check/check, we can consider shoving as a bluff, because villain has AK so often that it would be cool to make him fold that. Anything better probably bets as a protection/value at some point.
