Stats Check-UP for 3bp
Hey guys, can u give me a check-up of my freqs in 3bp? the leaks i see are that my bet vs missed cbet is pretty low. should we get it around 40-45%? is x/fold too high? Fold to cbet flop OOP seems also pretty high. Appreciate your suggestions.
thx in advance&cheers

Hey. Honestly, i think that looking at frequencies/trying to find leaks just by looking at stats is not really a way to improve as a player. It is, but only in some cases (looking at very basic stats while starting a poker career such as RFI or just having very broad picture and having mass database analysis done).
The problem is, its just not telling too much about your actual ranges and the conclusions might be very inaccurate and bring more harm than good.
Very simple example - your call OTF might be optimal/suboptimal compared to the ranges you use as a preflop defends. It will also differ through various enviroments. In regular microstakes games guys are 3betting like 7% overall, in tough zoom games its propably 9-10% and your defences should again differ.
You shouldn't really care about creating 'balanced' and just good lookin or unexploitable frequencies. It will only create an illusion of being 'safe', but it will be irrelavant. First, because its difficult for your opponent to take relevant samplesizes on you, especially in 3bet pots. Second, your opponent just dont care (if you're not playing high stakes games).
Work with your ranges instead. Compare your own ranges to the solver's or even to the pro's playing at videos. Find what you're doing diffrently with some parts of ranges and what's creating the dissonance.
hey, thx a lot for your input. It´s something i will definetly do. I was just curious if there was a freq which was completely off. but as u said, it´s relative to the games I'm playing. cheers!
try running your hh in the leakbuster free trial ver. , that should help.
