Starting over at 2nl, not used to spots like this!
If anyone could tell me how to format WPN hands that would be pretty cool too :)

Seat 1: (2.46).
Seat 2: (1.39).
Seat 3: (2).
Seat 4 (SB): Villain (4.52).

Player 1 folds
* FLOP *: [4c Qc 9d]
Player Afrodita bets (0.18)
Player Hero raises (0.54)
Player Villain allin (4.28)
Hero?
Only played about 45 hands with the guy, 36/24 and 8.0 AG. Not enough hands to mean much so I tried to just play against what I thought someone here might have.
Leading for over pot into an UTG on this board is obviously weird, would villain do this with sets, KQ, Q9, combo draw clubs? Would villain ever flat AA or KK pre and play it this way?
I can usually base some read on population tendencies but I just started playing poker again and haven't played 2nl before really. Here, I have no idea what the correct play is, any thoughts?
I guess even when I'm ahead, villain probably has a lot of equity, but I don't know if people are bad enough to just bomb KQ or 9x with clubs this way and I don't want to fold if I'm ahead a good portion of the time.

Your hand?
Oh, that's embarrassing. AQdd
The pot is like 0,14 on the flop and he leads 0,18? I would not raise versus such a big lead, versus smaller lead I would probably raise, but versus an overbet I would just call and avoid getting re-raised and keeping bluffs in his range. Our hand is strong, especially versus a fish, but it's not strong enough to get it in on the flop 200bb deep in general.
As played I would just fold, even though it sucks a little bit since he can have all kinds of crazy hands. But at the same time you are over 200bb deep and getting it in with just one pair is too risky in my opinion. I don't hate calling though since it is NL2 after all and people play like drunk monkeys. Not sure what the best play is, but I'd just call flop and avoid this. Easy to say now but I really would just call his lead given his sizing.
Yeah I think I kind of thought because it's 2nl, I can't imagine someone overleading pot with a 2p+. Figured it most likely a "drunk monkey" hand as you put it haha.
I didn't really want to just call given how bad a lot of turn cards are. However, when I think about it now, and playing 2nl, I should be able to hand read clearly enough to reevaluate a lot and get away from a lot of worse hands.
Thanks for your write up.
Yeah I see where you're coming from: it's a spot where it is really hard to tell whether villain has the nuts or something completely random, like I would not be that suprised if villain shoved up with QT type of hand. That said maybe your line is good? Very hard to tell.
This is one of the reasons why I would just call his lead, we avoid awkward spots like this and we keep his bluffs in.
i guess not even 100bb its best strategy lulz, even vs FD+GS u are like flipping.. or u get my point... to variance heavy... so to avoid it u can call since OTT his EQ is halved if he miss..
and also main point is also being 200bb deep... never good to GII TPTK.. imagine how hard its to get 100bb.. do u rly want to risk 200bb just with TPTK.. if u were 300bb deep u still would GII just cuz u haz TPTK? and so on..
tho they can sometimes do this with worse hand, but i think it will mostly be better hand or combodraw, and vs such range u r behind big time
Yeah I like this. Probably better to just wait for better spots.
I would just call the flop. Such a big donkbet is really polarizing so he likely either folds or 3bets over your raise and we don't want to get 3bet here.
As played easy fold. This is a set or a combodraw almost always.
Okay, yeah so even the hands I beat have a ton of equity
yeah agree with calling the flop.
once you raise, I strongly disagree that this is set or combo almost always, I think that his range is really random and I wouldnt blame you for just clicking call.
That said, given the price we're getting fold is a still prudent/conservative/safe option.
Yeah, I actually just started tightening up at 2nl a lot and I'm allowing the players to tell me what they have and believing them. This villain had Q4 :).
