Stakes strategy
Hello guys,
I just want to ask you a specific question. Do you know any site, YT channel (Or even something here on runItOnce) Where I can find a good strategy for each stakes? LIke I mean I'm searching for something that will have posts like: Effective Micro Stakes strategy, best strategy for mid stakes, strategy for tournamenst, etc. I want find something like that because I have a climbing up limits plan and I want to find a good site or yt channel about this, hope you get perfectly my question. (It must be something very objectively oriented. Site with every strategy for everything, even something for money.)
Thanks for help.

hey man, to be honest with you, I find most of these "startegy for the micros" videos on youtube not very helpfull, most of them don´t really know what they are talking. I would recomend watching the essencial videos from RIO, there are lots of live play videos and reviews for lower stakes (even 5NL i think) that will help you improve fast, and are made by people who know what they are talking about. Hope i have been helpfull and GL
Yes they are outdated. They just advice to follow oversimplified rules like always betting TPTK 3 streets for value no matter the runout, pretending its 2008 and ppl still call down with 2nd pair type hands too often.
Hey man, thanks for that.
So, do you think the best way I can learn these limits is practice and watching videos here? I'm person who love to learn something new and want to improve. But if you you think that most of that are just trashy useful bullshits, I will take your advice seriously.
How much practice or time I need at these limits, till I can climb up? What doing u think?
Don't worry about strat for stake X. Instead focus on learning the how/why of good poker strat, then it will be easy to make adjustments based on individual reads and common tendencies at a given stake.
This is all good advice, it's ultimately the same game you're playing at different stakes just with different numbers assigned to the chips in front of you.
I don't thinks so, ppl at micro stakes play so badly and they are able to put all of their money on marginal combinations. You can't use some good tactics and bluffing totally doesn't work there. I posted this because I need to understand this stupid ppl to crush micro's and climb up in limits.
Honestly, I've seen so many ridiculous lines at the lower stakes that I'd just suggest this.
Focus on your own strategy, understand what it means to be balanced with foundations in GTO play, and most importantly, learn how to deviate from said strategy to exploit the sub-optimal play you are faced with. The majority of videos on this site will help you with this.
Vs weak players this is often just implementing a simple strategy, but seeing it as a deviation from balance will help you progress.
That's sounds really helpful, thanks.
But last time when I tried my own strategy, I was in trouble and profit just gone, I was kinda tilted of that, so I tried to find some effective strategy and finally crush micro stakes.
I think we all start by emulating what we consider an effective strategy, and doing so is by no means a mistake.
I think the more you study (watching theory videos/watching pros play sessions as well as exploring ranges yourself), the more you will start understanding WHY the strategy you implement makes sense, and will let you adjust said strategy in ways to gain EV vs certain types of players. But yeah it will take some time, poker is a complex game.
My advice is learns a good balanced unexploitable strategy (this takes time, study and practice). Play that strategy. Observe what opponents are doing that isn't good and is exploitable. Adjust accordingly. This way you can identify leaks from all players at all stakes, like you asked for. It also prevents you from getting destroyed when you move up stakes due to your strategy at the previous stake not working. GL
Thanks a lot. Do you know any good site where I can find some new strategies? Or can I find something here?
PIO solver is great. Run it once is great. Upswing works but corners you into thinking there's only one correct way to play poker, and that way isn't good for beating high stakes. I've heard PIO unlocked is good but I don't have it so I can't speak for it. Important thing to know is this takes a lot of time and a lot of effort in studying. You need to be dedicated to succeed in poker. It's not and easy game to be successful at
