Hi, villain was sort of in between loose passive and aggressive - 53/24 with 8 3-bet.
If he leads flop I expect lots of bluffs, top pairs and 2nd pairs to bet here that's why I raised for value. What's your decision on the turn bringing overcard? Do you plan to get value on turn and buy a free river or you plan to bet again on the brick river?
As played I thought I should bet for protection but that K overcard scared me but I guess I can still extract value... And river seems to be one of the worst cards in deck do you fold here? Thanks.

I like your flop play, we definitely want to be raising donks aggressively especially when the only hands that you're behind are sets on this disconnected board as villain has no 2 pair here (although they might as they have a ridiculously wide pre flop range).

Turn is pretty horrible in that JT and KQ now have you crushed and if villain was betting KT or KJ they're now ahead so I think this is a good spot to slow down, you're going to have a lot of strong hands here that you're going to want to use a fairly large sizing with (straights, sets and 2 pair) so trying to sneak in a small bet here to get to showdown cheaply really makes your range super easy to play against and should induce raises forcing you to fold your equity.

On the river you're just absolutely crushed here, if villain had anything at all reasonable on the flop they got there, 87 is a straight, JT is a straight, diamonds got there and everything else is still ahead of you so I definitely think that you should fold this hand. You're going to have some KJ with a diamond here for a straight, maybe you'll check back a king high flush draw when it pairs up on the turn and you'll have this exact hand but with a diamond blocker sometimes which are all better call downs if you really want to defend at MDF.

you can bet turn for value if sure villain is cally type of guy and not x/R almost ever.
River just let it go, no sufficient blockers to do anything, yeah he can have 67, 98 type of bluff but whatever because his value region is quite big.

53/24 with 8 3-bet for me means hes a very loose passive fish as he calls or limps a lot preflop.

Can raise on turn as hes very loose passive preflop which most of the time translates to calling types post-flop but think checking is also ok as the K makes the board scary.

River just fold board is just to good for someone who called a flop bet and also if hes loose passive then fold is the default option as you don't beat any value hand.
