small-mid pocket pairs vs regs
If I'm 3 bet and it's vs only a reg nobody else involved...In general am I losing tons calling and taking a flop? In position or OOP or chip stack depths I wanna hear it all...When is it wrong to call? Site I'm on has no HUD nor tracking...Thanks

Assuming the 3-bet is not absurdly large, you pretty much have to call regardless of position.
If you are losing money on these calls (but how do you really know this without tracking?) then that could be bad luck or you may be making some mistakes postflop.
I don’t think calling 3bets with small pockets especially oop is a good idea.
I would call it ip vs certain regs and if i am above 100bb deep, but oop ?
the goal is to have a loss rate lower then just open folding
ur basically only folding PPs to 3b when they make it >3x your raise and you're OOP or when they make it >4.5x your raise and you're IP
That's interesting.
I always looked at the amount to call in relation to the effective stack as a ratio when figuring out whether or not to call. For example:
Hero open to 3bb UTG, CO 3bets to 10bb, folded around...100bb eff
So we'd have to call 7 and the stack is 90 after the call, so the ratio is about 12:1 (I like a 16:1 ratio).
For a small-mid PP, isn't a lot of the value in implied odds? because the rule of thumb you described doesn't really consider implied odds. Would appreciate if you could explain the logic behind it and also what you think about the call:stack ratio method.
Thanks!
Where i play regs make 3bets quite large from the blinds.
I open BTN 2bb and i often face 8 to 10bb 3bets.
Do we flat small pockets here? Which suited connectors we flat ? I am opening 65% from BTN.
