Small Blind Limp Strategy
Can you help me with the small blind limp strategy ? Everything you teach me is welcome.

What games do you play? Why do you want to implement a limping strategy on the small blind?
nl10, my rfi is too wide because steals, what u think about steal blinds in that limit ?
How do you define "too wide"?
People at your limit aren't defending their blinds correctly in general, so stealing wide is incentivized. And for the same reason limping isn't.
so is better for me start to worry about this on the nl50+ ?
More like 200NL
That is where the rake starts to get low enough to make it possible to be good and you're probably ready to consider more advanced strategies.
I started a thread here a few months ago about limping sb and it was found to be the general consensus that limping the sb at micros wa's a lower eV strategy than open raising mainly because :
-People at micros underdefend blinds.
-Rake is too high when we see a flop.
Yes I read about it, makes sense
There's a thread active on the mid stakes version of this forum about limping the sb
+1 to ismaithliom, I only would like to add you might want to exploit villains tendency to overfold vs steals on the BB by stealing much wider. Limping will give him equity realisation he would otherwise pass on, it's hard to balance and there's the rake:)
I love over limping the SB
Dubbed
when time is right and conditions are prime :D$
But most of the time air to aggression, especially in high Rake low RB enviorments
