Slow playing straight on connected board NL10

Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 (5 Players) CO: $16.31
BN: $11.07 (Hero)
SB: $10.08
BB: $10.00
UTG: $13.22
Preflop ($0.15) Hero is BN with 8 6
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.23, SB folds, BB raises to $0.90, Hero calls $0.67
Flop ($1.85) T Q 7
BB bets $0.90, Hero calls $0.90
Marginal draw- not even to nuts straight bur with backoor FD was't sure if i can fold. Maybe raise were better?
Turn ($3.65) T Q 7 9
BB bets $2.40, Hero calls $2.40
If on the river come A,K J or T my hand may be in bad spot. I was thinking that having position it's better to invite villain to pot becouse he will have to pay on the river for showdown and if i raise he could fold some one pair hand or weak 2 pairs and fold his bluffs OOP i like much more raisng but on the turn raise IP get it in isn't better? I hink i always trying to trap people in 3 bet pots IP and never raising but in such connected board what is better?
River ($8.45) T Q 7 9 7
BB bets $5.80 and is all in, Hero calls $5.80
