Any reads on the V? Has he been bluffing lately? Why didn't you call river? I think it would help other people to comment if you give more info about why you made a certain decision.

I'm not sure about the right size on the turn, so maybe someone else can help you with that. I would have called river tho.

Sorry it was played at a zoom table and player was unknown with 0 hand history. My thoughts are that i should of called the river with how i played the hand looking back.

Q pairing on the turn makes it less likely villain has a Q, and I doubt you are running into AA/KK here. You need about 30% equity to call villains bet on the river, and I think you get there. I would expect something like TT to play this exact way. Your hand was played weakly and villain could definitely be value betting worse hoping to get called by something like 88.

I would size up my turn bet as well fwiw.

Would either bet turn bigger but more likely check again.

Villain can have some missed draws on the river he now bluffs so would make the call as villain having a Q (and not betting flop) or AA/KK is unlikely. In this case would call the river although you block some obvious draws J♣ blocks club draws and JJ blocks JT draws so it is prob close spot.

I like your line :) having the Jc isn't the best because you block his river bluffing hands like JTcc KJcc AJcc; even without the Jc your hand should be indifferent between calling and folding from a theoretical perspective so the call should win similar chips to a fold if villain plays his range correctly.

You can call here with JJ without club for sure I would think. With this combo, I think it is pretty close. TT-88 is going to make up a big portion of his range that checks back flop and calls turn. All T, 9 and 8 turns will give his overall range 3 more value combos. 7's and less are much less threatening.

This could just be nit-picking though. He can also be going for thin value here with TT on the 9 river. Maybe we always call in a vacuum and make more detailed decisions when we have some reliable stats. I would be more apt to fold when he is betting rivers at a low frequency.

I think this is a mandatory call if you're going to bet it on the turn. You never have a better hand here unless you're going to protect your river checking range with some weak queens which I'd rather not do because that's far too passive. I think TT is a pretty clear value bet for villain and if you're ahead of some value bets then you absolutely have to call this as it's almost inappropriate to describe it as a bluff catcher. Having a club isn't enough of a factor to justify folding this in my opinion and you block QdJd so if you want to fold this here then it really shouldn't be in your turn betting range which I think is fine too. I would honestly be tempted to go for 2 streets of value with this hand in this spot, villain should have floated a lot on the turn and is going to need to call down pocket pairs and clubs that paired up on the river to stop you profiting with any 2 here because they are folding some a lot of ace high and missed clubs. Downside to this is against an aggressive enough villain you are going to get raised sometimes and have to fold when you do this so you might just want to check call this hand but definitely not check fold in my opinion.
