Should I cbet?

BB: $101.09
HJ: $52.62 (Hero)
CO: $21.13
BN: $22.01
SB: $53.68
Preflop ($0.75) (5 Players)
Hero was dealt 4 A
Hero raises to $1.50, CO folds, BN calls $1.50, SB folds, BB folds
Flop ($3.75) 6 3 4 (2 Players)
Hero bets $2.75, BN calls $2.75
Turn ($9.25) 8 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BN bets $4.75, Hero folds
Final Pot
BN wins $8.79

he is 47/15, wts 6

Not sure if I need to add here anything else since the main problem is our hand the board and his range

Should I cbet OTF? Maybe giveup is better? On the otehr hand he has a ton of overcards w/out flush-draw which makes it an easy cbet and then xf since we don't have enough fold equity and equity OTT.

IMO against this player you can give up OTF, but if I c-bet I plan to triple barrel (if no hearts comes around).
Also, I don't think you need to size your c-bet that big, since if he has a heart or a hand that he doesn't want to give up is gonna call you anyway (which means that your bluff becomes more expensive and needs to work more often).

I would cbet 1/2 pot and only continue on one an A or a 4. Pretty sure this shows a profit. Check/folding should be fine as well. I don't know about triple barreling. Villains wtsd is low, but I have no idea for what reason.

Maybe you should fold pre with this player on the BTN.

I understand that you want to play against him. However, I believe there isn't so much value in Ax4x oop, because you hit the flush so seldomly. Flush over flush happens even more rarely. This player probably has all the better Ax hands in his range. I'd rather play high cards.

I think if you size your cbet slightly smaller you still accomplish the same thing. I wouldn't try take this to showdown by taking some check/call line - rule that out completely. So if you are checking its to check/fold.

Whether you barrel or not, it depends on how light villain peels. I don't think tight ranges would fold the turn after calling the flop. So you need villain to be wider and/or call flop and fold turn.
