Should I bet 4 bet folding QQ?
Reviewing a hand I played yesterday with snowie and found it pretty interesting. I am not sure how big of a leak this is, but seems pretty substantial.
Hand in Question played out as follows:
200NL
Villain is aggro reg, seems very solid though with a 3 bet / fold strategy.
2 folds
hero opens QQ co to $5
Btn $15
BB cold calls $15
Hero 4 bet to $52,
BTN tank shoves.
BB folds
Hero calls off.
Snowie has call off here 100% of the time for 0.01 EV.
However, snowie recommended a smaller 2.5x 4 bet size to $38.

Hero should fold
Snowie folds here 100% and only calls off KK and AA. Even folding AKs here. Has QQ as a loss of EV -13.06 by calling off here.
This happens a lot in my pool, where someone ends up cold calling and then I feel forced to 4 bet a lot of AK, QQ-TT hands because of the dead money, where I am mixing call / 4 bet if the pot is HU, but 4 betting 100% with the dead money. I guess TT becomes a mix still, but JJ+ is 100%.
In Real time, I 3 bet to $52, which is roughly 3.5x because I was oop with a vulnerable hand and have dead money in the pot as well. Turns out I should just 4 bet to a smaller size and fold to a 5 bet.
Given the player dynamics of a small 3 betting war we had going on, I was pumped to pick up a hand to 4 bet him with. I guess I can use more 2.5x 4 bet sizing oop and like a 2.2x sizing IP in the future instead of using 3x sizes. Avoid some of these close spots.
