Unknown villain, his line creeped me out on the rvr. Is just calling here really weak? Should I be raising and folding if he shoves?

raising for sure, I think we have a lot of value compare to just call that small bet.
He might block bet with KQ,JT,KT, etc. And I dont think he is calling only better hands vs our raise, if he shoves/reraise would be gross, but 55 should be close to bottom of our range
I agree with Jeff - people usually tell you the strength of their hand with their sizing at uNL, so I'd expect to be good here almost always.
