At that moment I didn't had to much info about the BTN,he was playing something like 17/15 on 80 hands agg 4.2 agg river inf 62% (6)
Preflop
($0.15)
(4 Players)
Hero was dealt
J
A
CO folds, BN raises to $0.30, SB folds, Hero calls $0.20
CO folds, BN raises to $0.30, SB folds, Hero calls $0.20
I don't like 3beting preflop, because I wanna have a strong range of calling in this spot and I don't think he is gonna call with worst!
Flop
($0.65)
K
J
6
(2 Players)
Hero checks,
BN bets $0.37,
Hero calls $0.37
Standard spot of x/c on the flop, donk or x/r would be a litle spewy.
Turn
($1.39)
8
(2 Players)
Hero checks,
BN checks
When he checks back the river I think that I have the best hand!
River
($1.39)

(2 Players)
Hero checks,
BN bets $2.15,
Hero calls $2.15
On the river I made a mistake,I didn't made a value bet, instead I checked and he overbets. He is reping something like 6x or total air. What do you think about calling here?

i wouldnt bet river to let him bluff
as said he represents only 6 so its a snap call, ou have read that he is agro
obv. with every 6 but there probably only the a6 maybe the k6s , then also the kk,jj and 88 but that would be an interesting line to take with this hands. he might have kt or kq here and play it tricky because there isnt a big chance for you to have a big hand on the river its quite obv. that you have an jack there,so he might think a big bet would be a good valuebet with kq,kt ,which it is. on the other hand would he check it on the turn. probably yes.
what hands he can bluff the river . i would say all ace high have enough check equity and pocketpairs have enough equity for sure and nl10 player wouldnt turn these into a bluff i guess, so there arent that many hand left he can bluff with . at the end it not a bad call and its an important note to see if he bluffoverbets or not ,because it not so often in smallstakes that players balance there overbets at all.
at the end i would probably play the hand the same way u did.
Flop play is fine
Turn i wouldn't say that you should just jump to to conclusion that you have the best hand until you have a read on villain that he tends to play fit or fold postflop or just cbet one and done a lot. He could be pot controlling a lot of hands but yes you should rule out all of his strong Kx combos, so until then you most likely have a the best hand, river can change that tho.
River both checking and betting yourself are fine.. since we ruled out all of his strong Kx combos, that means he's never raising us a bluff and he should almost never raise us, so if you want to bet yourself you want to target his weaker calling range that probably has a lot of medium pocket pairs like 77-99, JT, some weird 8x, so bet folding river 40% - 50% pot size bet is definitely a good option, if you have a reason to believe that he doesn't like to give up his miss draws or auto stabs vs weakness (checking twice here can be perceived as a lot of weakness by many microstakes players) then i would go for the check/calling line to bluff catch him, however once he overbets the river like this when the board pairs like that, i would almost nearly never consider a nit to be bluffing here at these stakes:
-his stats shows that he understands the basics of poker
-nits from my experience tend to valuebet and either give up with their hand or bluffcatch people, they nearly never bluff unlike LAGs, there's a reason they're nits.. they don't like to valuebet thinly or play marginal hands, so they rather go with hands that if they hit they can valuebet two/three streets most of the time, they're aggressive yes.. but only with strong draws or strong made hands.
basically i would of snapped off his overbet on the river if he would of opened from EP or MP, however since he's opening from BTN you can expect a few of 6x hands that would play very similarly by cbetting the flop then checking back the turn to pot control and not valuetown themselves against stronger hands. He can have a few A6, K6s (maybe), maybe some 6xs sometimes since he attempted to steal from the button.
I would also recommend that you either add to your HUD or remember yourself to go look at their raise first stats by position in a popup, it can help you a lot and also to use aggression% (postflop aggression frequency%) rather than aggression factor as it tends to be a very misleading stat over small sample, it tries to calculate too many variables.. personally once i got used to agg frequency i never looked back to agg factor, it's so much more stable and easy to use.
