River spot oop

Villain plays 31/27 over 350 hands with 2,8 agg. Opens 21% MP, Does'nt seem very aggro on the river, though could be due to samplesize...

I have some trouble figuring out the best play here... Villain is wider than most opening from MP so he probabely has more suited conn in his range. That said he can also call the flop c/r with a K, Q, JT ... I don't have enough info on him to know if he would 4bet the flop with hands like AK, flushdraws, or a Q, as I rep a drawing hand most of the time...
This river spot is also tough because I don't know if villain is playing his range or mine. As I'm repping a missed flushdraw, he should probabely shove almost his entire range on the river and I'm making a terrible fold?

As played the river is a good fold imho. I struggle with the turn though. Obviously the A is the worst card in the deck, as Villain could easily have called the flop-raise with AQ, AK, JT, but I guess he has some nfds that turned TP in his range as well.

The question is if we shouldn´t just go for 3 barrels instead of turning our hand into a bluffcatcher against a range that most likely doesn´t need to bluff. I mean, as we probably don´t have QQ+, AQ, AK in our range on the river - Villain definitely has a profitable auto-shove with any2. So most likely we made a mistake before.

If he calls the turn barrel and the river bricks, would you still fire the river?
And what if he shoves over the turn barrel? We're most likely way behind, unless he's shoving his FD, wich may have the A so we're not in great shape aswell... ?

I would fire the river if he calls the turnbarrel (for thin value, mostly against floats that picked up the A) and I´d fold to a shove on the turn (because I don´t expect him to shove anything worse).

It seem mighty optimistic to me to go for 3 barrels when the turn is one of the worst cards in the deck. Not many hands pick up a naked top pair anyways besides AJdd and A10dd and those are going to 3 bet the flop a decent chunk of the time. Additionally, they're only 2 combos and don't always call down whereas hands like J10, AK and Aces prob don't ever fold.

Yes, you´re right, river might be a bit optimistic. Still I think betting the turn - with the intention of x/f the river is better than x/c, x/f, agree?
