Villan is a fish. He plays 70/26 and is fairly aggressive postflop but I only have 70 hand on him. Do you think check is good here or bet is better. If yes, what size do you think is good considering his wide range here. I was thinking about half pot bet here but I decided to "trap" him which is something that I do often, but I dont think I am choosing the right spots to do it.

If you want to stay balanced and protect your x/f , x/c range, checking here is best. You will never lead here with less than a six and villain can fold pretty much everytime. Its hard to create a bluff leading range as well because all your other hands should have enough SDV.
I agree. I am just result oriented sometimes. I feel like I did a bad decision because I missed value, but in reality that's not the case. I have to think more about my range and base my decisions on that.
Thank you.
Why would you ever worry about being balanced vs a fish? :D (or vs most regs, for that matter).
There's no reason to bet here. He's probably going to bet Ax/6x/worse flushes anyway (which are calling a lead, I mean). By checking, we allow him to bet with busted diamonds or hero call a XR with worse hands (we win more).
I would also x/r here. I think he will bet this river a good amount and he probably will not call a lead with hands that he's going to xb + If we check he can still bluff some hands.
3bet pre
as played I would probably x/r based on the limited info we have
would only lead vs very passive fish
x/r for sure
