QToff vs limper
It is one of my biggest leaks in game. I don't know how to play not hit board vs limper/fish.
I know I should go 4BB in this case pre. What to do postflop? Small bet, x/call, x/fold?
PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
BB: 67.8 BB
UTG: 111.8 BB
MP: 121.8 BB
CO: 89.6 BB
BTN: 99.2 BB
Hero (SB): 146.2 BB
Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB
Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has Qs Td
fold, fold, CO calls 1 BB, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, CO calls 2 BB
Flop : (7 BB, 2 players) 6c 8d 3d
Hero bets 2 BB, CO calls 2 BB

What makes you think that you should go 4x pre with this hand?
Its a bit thin for value even HU vs the limper and has a poor playibility postflop MW.
So im just completing this 1 usually without further info.
As played: your range really hates this flop and so usually you should bet it rarely.
I would simplify here and check my whole range. However: If we decide to bet, we want to play/rep a strong hand vs 2 players oop and so should pick a bigger sizing.
So my 2cents:
1. Complete pre
2. Check/fold flop
3. If you bet, bet bigger
Good points. I will try to embed it into my game. About sizing I standard vs limper for me is go 3BB in position and 4BB on blinds. My range should be tighter on blinds.
Good point that maybe here QToff is little bit too thin.
Yeah…my question was more about the hand choice rather than sizing. 4-5x in this spot would be standard
