QQ top set

BN: $71.01
SB: $9.20
BB: $25.25 (Hero)
UTG: $32.01
HJ: $63.69
CO: $25
N/A
Preflop ($0.35) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt Q Q
UTG raises to $0.75, HJ folds, CO raises to $1.50, BN folds, SB folds, Hero raises to $5, UTG calls $4.25, CO folds
I really wanted to try isolate, or take the pot down here. When UTG calls I put him on TT+, AKo+, and maybe some ATs+ hands.
Flop ($11.85) 9 J Q (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG checks
with the UTG raising allot here, and no 'real draws' (apart from the obvious SD, I was hoping that the UTG would 'sense' weakness from my check and raise me, so i could c/r
Turn ($11.85) 9 J Q 8 (2 Players)
Hero bets $3.30, UTG raises to $7.50, Hero calls $4.20
now here is where i played wrong, I would personally check/fold at this point, as this is just a horrible turn card for me. The reason i opted to bet i have no idea, maybe c/c here is okay, as he may of picked up some kind of flush draw.. or do i just simply shove this turn?
River ($26.85) 9 J Q 8 K (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $10.80, Hero folds
so this K hits his range so hard its crazy. Not only does the SD 'improve' the Flush also completes. I dont see him better AK here after that turn raise, and im almost certain i should of just folded the turn.
Final Pot
UTG wins $25.27
I should of either cbet the flop, and then bet/fold the turn, or simply go into c/c mode.

I dont really like the way i played, but im not 100% on what line i should take.

Well, on flop cbet for sure because it's not so good flop for you, except is raimbow. he can easy have TT. I don't think that he have flush. I thik he has TT or some kind of T.

I would be pretty surprised if UTG opened and then called a cold 4 bet with A10s type hands. As far as post flop play I'd just bet the flop as UTG's range is probably something like 1010+ AK+. Given that range UTG should be able to continue on this flop a whole bunch and if he does have a hand like AK it's going to be pretty tough for him to put money in the middle until he has you beat anyways. Remember that when someone has a really strong range that our focus should likely switch from trapping to extracting value as they don't have a ton of hands to bluff with.

Yeah I probably would have continuation bet the flop. 1/2 - 3/4 -full pot? Give him the wrong odds to call on a draw? Plus, you have the lead in the hand. If he calls I probably would've donked off some more chips on the turn with a second barrell or check re-raise before I realise I'm beat haha :D

As the others have said, I much prefer a bet on this flop. I think there's a large chunk of his range that will call your cbet, but won't bet when checked to.

yeah id be betting somewhere in the neighbourhood of 1/3-1/2 pot on this board expecting alot of incorrect calls from hands w/ little to no equity that check back the vast majority of the time.
