don't really like cb here.
99-JJ in his range also KQs- yes i block Qs - AJ+
I do like my sizing tho, and just a call leads more to drawing hand.AJ+
he would raise any set right?

CBT to protect from his draw.
didn't love his call , but i guess i should, cause he would shove with a made hand right?
he took some time and called - which i did not liked

(i bet expecting a snap call - based on timing of turn call..)

looking forward for your comments since i cannot tell if it was played good or bad.

check flop
check turn as played
check river as played
river bet is very bad
I like that you're paying attention to timings -- be weary for now of how you interpret them though.
1.if we check river, he bluffs any draw right?
river is x/c? or x/f?
The flop bet is fine. Personally, I'd go a little bigger (0.60-0.65). You have an over-pair and an open-ender and blockers.
I think we should be checking the turn, but a bet isn't awful. They can still have a lot of draws in their range. I would expect to get played back at a lot with a turn bet, though.
We should definitely be checking the river. There are a ton of Jacks in their range and any 8 makes a straight.
thank you
cannot see him having 8x and 88 after turn bet. (I would fold them !)
but yes river bet is a mess... but also as i mention above what we do if he shoves his 2.83$ all in .
There are a few combinations that they can credibly have on the turn:
88, As8s, 7s8s, 8s6s, Ks8s, 7c8c, Ac8c and so on
If they shove the turn? I'm happily folding my Queens. Remember: you've shown a lot of strength by 3-betting pre-flop and betting the flop and turn.
well i meant after the turn, on river.
if he shove river after our check, what we do?
I'm folding the river. After 3-betting pre-flop and betting the flop and turn and given the board run-out, I can't see us being good on the river, if they shove. Any Jack and any 8 beat us and they shouldn't be value-betting worse. Admittedly, I'm a bit of a hero and I can't find a call here.
Can I ask a question? Why did you bet the river if you expected a snap call?
This is a serious question too, I'm not trying to be a jack ass : ). Something that I've noticed in your posts says to me that you're trying to use aggression to push people off hands. How can I tell? This was a major leak of mine that I found and I can see a lot of similarities between our thought process.
I would like to suggest that you take time and be honest with yourself. Ask yourself why? It may be very enlightening : )
I was wondering if anyone would ask.
This is something i have been working on a lot the past 2 weeks, and its reduced a lot.
what happens is, when confused on the situation, by speed and momentum I bet.. Even if i have a read, speed gets me and bet like I want to push him of the hand and the table.
I have noticed that last 2 weeks and I go slower on every street, to stop momentum on every street, and think !
**and i can tell when opponents doing it.
