Do you just 4b/gii here vs a 1tabler? I strongly thought about it but was a bit scared away by his 3bet sizing which looked sth between reasonable and what a fish would chose with a strong hand. So in the end I decided to just flat in these positions.

Again, kinda unsure what to do here. TT, 99 outflopped me even though he probably doesn't have either often at all. I felt like I should protect/get value from his AK and other broadways as well as FDs which are probably going to check back the turn a lot given his weak sizing. I'll still lose a stack vs KK+ but can't see what I could do about it.

And again lost for the 3rd time. :D We have roughly pot behind, I can't really see him having Tx unless it's specifically ATs or sth he splashed around with preflop but what is going to call me now if I shove? It might still have merit though because he clearly doesn't have KK+ anymore and this way I can protect from the few FDs/overs he might have, but I really don't expect to be in decent shape when called. Any suggestions?

Flatting pre is perfectly fine and I think its the correct play against most villains. My 4b range UTG vs BU is KK+ and some suited aces. Raising flop is pretty bad imo, you fold his bluffs and put money in when he has KK+. I would just XC flop, specially having the Qh. As played he still has KK+ OTT (he is not gonna shove flop when you XR because you have 99 and TT and he doesnt) so by shoving you are basically turning your hand into a bluff, and I don't know if this specific villain will fold KK+ here. Also I can't see him calling a shove with AK high. Default plan would be to call flop, call brick turns and fold most rivers. You can even fold turn if he goes for a big sizing
Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. The thing is though that a lot of his bluffs have at least one overcard, there's probably 16 combos of AK and some of them have a FD to go along with it, too. And I expect him to check most of them back OTT, realize his equity and deter me from vbetting the river if it comes an unfavorable card. I also don't see how we can save a stack vs KK+ on most runouts by just calling flop.
So all in all, yes, I won't be in great shape if the money goes in here, but protecting vs his high equity hands/bluffs seemed pretty important to me at that point. And don't forget that he could still be a big drooler and show up with random holdings once in a while, too. So I might even get clean value from JJ, Tx sometimes.
Well, you better start learning how to do this because getting away from these coolers will have a very nice impact on your winrate.
I don't think this is enough of a reason to raise flop, in terms of EV, which is what we are interested when playing poker. The EV of calling is definitely higher than the EV of raise/calling (I'm assuming you are not raise/folding here)
Yes, that is true, but you are still going to get value from these hands by just calling. And also he is going to have a lot more AK and KK+ than JJ and Tx (if he really has any Tx combo in his range, which I don't think so)
pre is fine, flop just call not getting it in vs much worse imo.
Raising flop has almost 0 value
