QQ 4bet pot

Blinds: $0.08/$0.16 (6 Players) BN: $23.34
SB: $10.72
BB: $14.94
UTG: $37.07
MP: $18.98
CO: $16.53 (Hero)
Preflop ($0.24) Hero is CO with Q Q
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.48, Hero raises to $1.44, 3 folds, MP raises to $2.88, Hero calls $1.44
Flop ($6.00) 4 6 4
MP bets $3.15

Villain is a super nit reg, 1.1k hands
14/10 his 4bet ratio is 0.57!

His 4bet range is KK+, I don't even know if he 4bets AKs.
Preflop I think it's fine, I have good odds.

But OTF vs this type of villain, is folding QQ here overfolding? I think not at all but I'm curious about what do you think.

It's almost certainly overfolding yes, given you should be continuing with 100% of your 3b range to this 4b sizing. Our range shouldn't be wide for 3b him in the first place, but even if it isn't QQ is still pretty high up in there to consider folding to 1 bet.

I mean folding OTF and vs that sizing.
Preflop folding is out of question.
I probably should consider 3betting hardly polarized vs this villain though

I know what you are saying. I'm talking about folding the flop being overfolding when 100% of our 3b range is calling this 4b pre. If we show up to the flop with our entire 3b range QQ is going to be too high up to fold to 1 bet.

As far as this flop size I don't want to look into it too much given he's 14/11 so i doubt he's sizing anything correctly.

I might be stupid but if he has KK+ then why are we calling a bet OTF? Are we trying to be balanced vs a 0.5% 4b nit?

Sample is still too small to be folding QQ otf I think. We still have imperfect info here. Obv if his entire range is KK and AA we can just setmine and fold flop but I don't think we can guarantee that's what his range is.

I see these hands all the time with students. People over think these situations alot in my opinon. If you have 1.1k hands showing the player is a super super nit. From my experience they always turn out to be a super super nit. Call pre then fold flop :)

yeah and the chance he has AA is way higher than KK, if he had KK, he'd prob. just call, actually. These guys are so tight.

I agree call pre fold flop. Normally I think the accepted theory is that you can profitably set mine when you payout is 20 x your investment. Here you gain extra 18.21 for 1.44 outlay (x12.64). But here I think you can profitably set mine as very high probability that villain will stack off.

I think the maths is of expected stack size something like this -

Call pre fold - 89.5% x 15.09 = 13.50.
Call pre hit set - hold up. 9.5% x 33.3 = 3.16
Call pre hit set loose 1% x 0 = 0

Expected stack size = 16.66.

If you raise and fold pre stack size will 15.09.

Please feel free to correct maths if wrong.

By call pre do you guys mean calling the 4bet or flatting his open?

I do often just flat opens vs them nits not to pump the pot. Do you think it makes sense ? Or QQ should be always a 3bet?

I think folding is just right. Uh, in my experience anything over 150 hands with 0 or 1 4bet is a pretty sure tell of a very high likelihood of his 4bet being exactly AA/KK. A bluff heavy 3bettor like me who tries to bully basically everyone with high 3bet fold and / or high setmine-give up call vs 3bet is a target and basically I can't hold over 70-80 hands of any sample not 3betting.
