As he didn't lead the river I concluded that he had JJ or TT, but was wrong. Or maybe I was right but he noticed that I don't have a straight here.
So I think there are 3 options for the future:
- Playing it the same and risking getting owned.
- Checking straights on the turn
- Not betting strong overpairs for value here.
Which option should I choose?

I would just check river, u will value cut your self too often I think
Agreed :D
and I agree too - you were too greedy there, and also open yourself wide open to raises.
I don't think JJ or TT can really ever call here so there is not much value to be had on river. You have to be called by worse some of the time for betting to be good here and I just don't see it happening.
