QJs 4bpot strugglin w TP

Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (9 Players) MP: $31.87 (Hero)
MP+1: $25.00
MP+2: $30.19
CO: $27.15
BN: $21.31
SB: $25.30
BB: $25.00
UTG: $25.00
UTG+1: $20.35
Preflop ($0.35) Hero is MP with Q J
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, 2 folds, CO raises to $2.25, 3 folds, Hero raises to $5.85, CO calls $3.60
Flop ($12.05) Q T 7
Hero checks, CO bets $4.00, Hero calls $4.00
Turn ($20.05) Q T 7 4
Hero checks, CO bets $17.30 and is all in, Hero folds

Villain is a reg with wide 3bet from CO-BU and high fold to 4b. Not very agg postflop with 46 w$sd and 50% w$sd

I tried to exploit that, hate the hand selection cause this actually plays ok vs 3bet + not blocking A,K...

Once he called my 4bet hes range is much narrower, checked cause i dont expect having much FE or value vs his range. I tend to do to much this shit, end up facing hard decisions on later streets.

Simplify by betting?

His Cbet was relatively small. Ever think of raising him on the flop to charge him in case he has draws? On the turn when he shoves I think it's a call although based on your description it sounds like roughly even money, he has a lot more combos of K9, 98, AK, any flush draw. If he has AA, KK, and 10s so be it

You can't put in his range hands like 98s or K9s without any particular info about him.
@ULPiano I dont mind 4betting this hand, but on this board when you block merely few of his bluffs combos it's a calldown for me.

@Tomasz K I disagree those hands can be in his range especially because he's in the CO coupled with the fact that he's aggressive I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility.

If he has a high fold to 4b (in the CO???, u have a 3b popup by position, pre and post flop?) follow your initial plan. i assume it was a bluff 4b and not for value, so, he probably has u beat from the beginning. Does this makes sense?

Do u have a standardized 4b range? or just 4b as u feel like it? if u 4b QJs then u 4b this: AA-QQ,AKs-AJs,KQs-KJs,QJs,AKo-AQo,KQo - 5.88% ?

just trying to help, im tired lol

Work the hand in equilab or flopzila.

His high fold to 4bet is overall, i dont have a pop up that gives me CO fold to 4bet. I do know that his 3bet range is high from CO (and overall).
About my 4bet range, i dont have a static 4bet range. I focus mainly on my opponent tendencies. Vs him, i might not 4bet AKs,AQs,QQ,KQs (from the range u assigned) i would go more polarized. Thats why i explained i dont love the hand i select for the 4bet.

Thanks for the comment!

I default call pre, but AP this is a fantastic hand to call down with. Flopping top pair in a 4bet pot, and not blocking opponents most likely bluff means its time to call down and if your beat thatz poker.

I do 4b quite a bit vs Reg's, and for some thin value Vs some fishes.
The games have became much more cut throat and some reg's just 3b alot OOP and really can't or don´t know how to adjust in usefully time to 4b's. In top of that then u get paid when holding premiums.
But i made a popup that i will post next.

For a long time i did not hat a standard 4b range (i do deviate but do it so knowing it) having a standardized 4b range is just good. And now for something silly but... Equity maters so i do find the suited wheel aces to be a good part of that range.

I don't love 4b what i would call an absolute polarized 4b range. i prefer what i would cal a relative 4b polarized range if u will. As its (as mentioned above suited wheel aces) still kinda polarized but with a top equity (as bluffs go) i have blockers and equity as KQs etc...

Hope this helps and makes sense.
