Q8o faces check/raise OTF 10NL

BB: $3.96
UTG: $18.08
HJ: $11.54
CO: $3.19
BN: $10 (Hero)
SB: $10.05
BB: 46/8 WTSD:39 (74 hands)
Preflop ($0.15) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt Q 8
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO folds, Hero raises to $0.25, SB folds, BB calls $0.15
Flop ($0.55) 3 4 8 (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.35, BB raises to $1.60, Hero calls $1.25
I decided to call because his value range contains [34; 33-44; ~A8] and He seems to me a passive player.

However He check raised me with a huge size, and He could shove the turn comfortably.

What do you think guys? Does He capable to bluff this texture? Does his extraordinary aggression mean He has a really strong hand?
Turn ($3.75) 3 4 8 T (2 Players)
BB bets $2.11, and is all in, Hero calls $2.11
After I called the flop raise there's no way to fold my hand in this turn Imo.

I don't understand you have defined a hand range that beats you and then called? Also told us he is passive so it makes you want to play against his raising range? Do you mean he is aggressive?

I defined a narrow value range for him. I except him to just check/call flop with strong hands because of his passive image, and then check/raise or check/call turn, and donk the river, as passive recreational players do. This kinda aggressive move on the flop suggested me He's bluffing/semibluffing in a decent amount of the time.

Passive players don´t "habitually" spew off their chips w/o any equity. And as there are no draws possible, his range should be pretty strong. His WTSD of 39% alone would´ve made me instantly folding the hand on the flop.

Sample is pretty small.

I see this line with AA/KK when its the lat of thier money and they desperately trying to make a double up so that they slowplay pre then go for a flop check/raise. If villain was very aggro loose, i would just go with being 40bb deep eff to start the hand. If i had reads villain passive then i may simply cbet/fold given a presumed very strong flop check/raise range literally A8+ 99+ sets and two pairs.

im with everyone else, given the read hes passive, that means you should just get the hell out of his way with marginal hands when he becomes aggressive, doesnt matter how few "value" combos hes repping. Most especially on a board like this where there arent many draws. So id fold the flop

I agree with all the previous posters. Because a passive opponent has c/raised us, we must respect his raise because his raises only consists of value hands that beat us.

Remember, we make money with the TPGK types of hands when these passive opponents call down.
