Pushing Preflop
I'm just curious as to know if i made the correct play, if you guys can please give your advice that would be greatly appreciated. It was quite early in a satellite turbo tournament so the players a very bad. I just lost AKo to QQ preflop for like 35bb. I am now in the HJ w A3o with 10bb, is a shove okay here? What if i was in the CO? Keep in mind that i was covered by all the players but not by much. The pot was unopened and the stacks were no more than twice the size of mine (20bb). Thank you.

I think shoving AKo with 35BB left is a mistake. I think if you're short <15BB it's on okay shove, but you're flipping too much, when you can just raise, and maybe call verse a jam from a short stack.
thanks man, i should have been more clear. He open shoved it which was strange. I still think he's very strong in that spot and you're correct. I usually wouldnt call in that spot but i was running on little sleep which definitely affected my decision.
How deep was he? 25BB? I don't have much experience in MTTs, but if he is only shoving AKo+ and any PP we only have 37% equity with AK . And if he is only shoving 88+ and AKo+ it's 41% equity. Obviously if you were short stacked, say 15BB I think it's a snap call, but being so deep, it's just not worth it. Still a chance I'm wrong though, because like I said I don't have much MTT experience.
