Pt4 review!

Hi all!

Looking for a kind guide to help me improve at 25z

Losing at 6bb/100 over 50k hands.

Struggling to improve and feel like I am in a spot of I don't know what I don't know spot.

Weather this is just a friendly grinder reviewing or if a coach is out there for hire both are appreciated.

Cheers and happy grinding

Record a session a post it on youtube. Then post the link here so we can watch and comment.
Also post your stats: vpip, pfr, rfi for each position, 3bet, fold to 3bet, wwsf, agg% cold call for each position etc

The stats are very nitty. One thing you can improve right now is to stop cold calling from MP and CO. If you wanto to simplify even more, which might be a good idea, you can also stop cold calling BU and SB. 3bet seems very low. In 6 max should be 7%+. Given your positional 3bet stats I assume its around 5-6%.
Record a session and post it here. Its the best way to scrutinize your play.

Thank zinom1; My flats IP come from mostly hands like TTs,QJs and ATs and hands that want to keep villains EP range wide; I am trying to expand the bottom side of CO, HJ, BU opens currently seem to miss a lot of opens and something I am currently watching closely; I try to follow the RYE charts for opening ranges.

As for SB Im not sure where that flatting comes from I try and implement a 100% R/F strategy.

Starting a zoom session now to record to be looked into.

Cheers.

Yeah I agree with zinom1, the 3b stuff really stands out. 3b BTN at least twice as much. I would really look at the spots where you have opportunity (with money invested involuntarily) to improve. Especially BB 3b vs SB open and vs BTNs.

You look to be calling rivers too liberally from SB and MP. You want to improve on that.

Get rid of the majority of the "Call 2b" stuff.

What is your RFI from the BTN and SB????? I am going to bet it is extremely low in SB vs BB and it looks to be quite low OTB.

I have done a ton of work in Blind vs Blind spots and c betting too much is a big leak in SB vs BB in 2b pots. I think optimal, with standard ranges, is @ 43-45% (depending on exact ranges). Your opening range is so much stronger than a "typical" SB RFI that it seems natural for you to c bet a higher %. 60% is probably too high though. Look over some BB vs SB spots where you can make more chips by protecting your check range with some strong hands and getting them to bluff off chips on later streets instead of betting into their 54s with AA/KK on some safe boards and winning/cutting their bluffs on the flop. They will have to bluff turns/rivers sometimes or they will just get run over.

Thanks HawksWin; the 3b stuff is going to be a focus today I just checked out the charts and I know I am missing a lot of these opportunities.

Interesting point about specifically SB/MP river calling frequencies. I'm not sure what to look into to solve this error but good to be conscience that its happening.

Ya BU and SB RFI are embarrassingly low, That has been my biggest take-away from this in a lot of spots to just wake up and stop the auto-pilot folding.

Thanks for the tips and for taking the time to look and I appreciate the deep strategy you went into for SB vs BB hopefully I can take this from here straight to the green line on pt :)

Cheers.

First attempt at this! Kept it down to 45mins to not have an overwhelming amount of content and I didn't see before I hit record but I had cutoff the part with the bet slider including so unable to see my mulling over bet sizes but overall I think this video captures at least the start of a session. zinom1

1:55 T6s is pure open on BU even at non ante games.
2:00 I assume missclick with AA. After limp should iso to ~6 BB.
2:46 Good fold with KJo
2:53 76o is 0ev open in non ante. Should atleast consider open but fold is fine.
5:45 3bet bigger. At least 12bb. Also A5o is an open from sb
After 14:20 you zoomed in too much ;)

Thanks!
1:55 T6 interesting that I snap folded that one; really trying to slow down those BU choices
2:00- Yes miss-click I saw that one to when I was uploading and was like oh no.
2:53- would normally open 76o hopefully MP opened to 3x this one I believe
5:45- Good point on 3bet I know better to pole here and go big common error on my behalf- and ya another weird snap fold with an open that I know better; really trying to tune into these opens.

Thats really annoying with the zoom in; would of had hotkeys for others scenes turned on unfortunate.

I really appreciate the time taken to look at the start bits of this with me I'll attempt a bettor recording in the future maybe with some audio to get a sense of where my head-space is.

I think the biggest take-away so far is just open my eyes pre and don't auto pilot fold these frine like hands. I did drop from 4 to 2 tables recently because I did feel like this was happening.

Cheers mate.

5:24 88: Cbet looks kind of thin to me without a heart. Do you cbet range here? Sizing looks a bit like that. IMO this board is too dynamic to CB whole range.
7:14: Why are you betting 99 here? Too thin for value and too strong to bluff imo.
9:10: I like the overbet with KQ here
11:15: T9s should be a raise pre imo. Otherwise we dont rep much at AQX
14:03: Cbet with 33 looks also kind of thin to me. These T9X-boards connect often with a SB-flattingrange.

But looks solid overall. Btw: There will hopefully be a proview of Henry Lister commenting my game at NL25 be uploaded soon. Looking forward to your criticism as well guys.

I am blown away with how much positive attention this post got can't tell you all how please I am with this.

5:24- 88- Yes I do lean to cbet range here as an auto but great point being too dynamic; I definitely paused before betting I remember this one. I guess any hand I am protecting against probably c/r and Im left behind with a lot of hands.
7:15 : I am...not sure. I think In the moment the thought was to protect vs A5hh like hands but this is a clear hand check back call most rivers so I agree with too thin for value; definite overplay.
910: thankyou! I choose the overbet for most double paired boards in my favor.
1115: Ah yes I looked into the 3bet BBvsSB part of ranges today actually and was definitly over flatting these spots.

14:03: definitly worth looking over cbets for future and not auto betting boards that shift equity balance back over to villain, cheers.

Again thank you very much means a lot that you took time to look over some hands. Excited to see this Henry Lister video with you!
