dont normally open QKo from UTG without a reason. My reason this time was that I felt like playing it.

Going 4 ways to the flop on that board texture I figured my best chance of winning it was to bluff on the flop and expect to get floats from A high type hands and the other gutters + FDs, 44 A5, A3, A2, some of which may fold to a turn bet.

My thought process here was that I probably have the best hand a decent percentage of the time and I might make hands fold that could otherwise put money in on bad cards on the river had I bet a more substantial 1/2-pot size bet on the turn. I went for a small bet hoping to get x/r by all of his semi-bluff's, air and i suppose his value hands 55, 33, 22, kk, 2 pair type stuff and the like. Im weighting a lot of his range to random Ax hands that he'd decide to bluff raise with at least some equity.

im thinking x/f here, lots of 2 pair combo's and Ax, sets, straights. Now i think about it he does have a lot of bluffs calling out of the BB getting great odds preflop.

Ok I put all the comments elsewhere, lets see how this works out.

xf flop - "my best chance of winning it was to bluff on the flop" it's not a argument for betting.
as played CB OTF -> bigger sizing OTT,
if you bet small OTT you have to call raise vs this sizing
OTR i make a bluff shove
What are your arguments for c-betting a completely missed flop thats 4-way?
Anyone with a pocket pair, trips, straight- or flush draw would probably call, so it's probably not gonna be succesful? Were you gonna bet again if you missed the turn? And what about 3x clubs or A/4 on the turn - those are really scary turn-cards.
But yea, looks like BB slowplayed trips..
On a 532 flop any Ax has a wheel draw so betting Kx is not getting any better hand to fold. So check give up 4-way on a bad flop for your hand.
Those reasons for not betting it were going through my mind and taking that into account its something I think the players in the hand should be aware of. So i figured betting here can kind of disguise my hand and potentially get folds if everyone is just in a completely different part of their range that doesnt connect. I figure im risking less to win a bigger pot and my plan was to fire once and give up unless I hit a K or Q.
OTT I was thinking about what river cards I might be able to value bet, x/c, and x/f to. The ace was one of them. There were lots of safe river cards I can play, and on that flop I think there are a number of different run-outs that will enable me to win the pot unless someone is slow playing a monster or has a monster draw.
Also over-all I think betting KQ in a 4way pot is probably not part of an overall winning strategy. Its just something I do very rarely if im feeling i might be able to win the hand to some specific action or run-outs.
C-betting a total whiff on a low 2-flush board, in a 4-way pot, OOP vs two opponents is putting money on fire. Win money, not pots. :-)
