Preflop play: flatting/folding versus an open
Hi,
NL10-25 player here. I'd like to improve my preflop play, because even though I know the bases about opening/3betting ranges, I have a lot of questions to build correct ranges, hope you can help me out :)
1) How do you construct your standard flatting ranges versus reg open, with no fish/ very squeezish player behind us? Are there any RIO videos about it? I personnaly tend to be very tight and play pretty much 3bet/fold when good regs left to speak.
2) I have recently seen good players build preflop 3bet/fold only merged ranges, why is that?
3) Same for the vsSqueeze or vs3bet flatting range, do you always look for an approximation of (Pure EQ)*(EQ realisation)?
4) How do you make assumptions of EQ realisation considering all factors (Like the likelihood our opponent cbets a ton, the fact that we're OOP, etc.)
Also, how do 3way pots/4way pots affect our equity realisation and our calling ranges?
Thanks a lot!
