So my question in this preflop spot is given that hes a fairly tight /
aggressive player is it conceivable to put him on Aces with such a big
4-bet preflop? Was he trying to represent aces? Or is this just another
case of playing AK too aggressively? Granted it was suited; but he only
has 1/118 chance to hit his flush. The range that I put him on pre was
AK, possibly QQ and a small percentage of me put him on bullets. I
figured that if he really did have aces then he would have raised more
than 10$ initially preflop.. But then again you do see all sorts of
weird lines online so its hard to gauge betting patterns sometimes. Another question is - all considering preflop would you have 5-bet jammed? Or do you think the flat call was optimal? Overall thoughts here?
