I feel I have played this hand very passively, this may be because lately I have been running into the top of players ranges and I felt that I was calling too much. I am just confused how to defend my blind with a decent hand when most players play everything and wont fold to 3 bets, So when I 3 bet and miss the flop I find myself just bluffing most of my hands because I am not sure where I am at in the hand.

Calling pre is standard, your hand plays well multiway if it flop a set and is usually an easy x/fold on boards with one or more overcards against mulitple opponents. You can lead flop small, turn is x/decide as well as river. and btw, what is a laggy calling station ?
This particular player was very loose and rarely folded
pre is std
flop is questionable, but fine. xc is the safe play, but leading works too.
turn and river look fine, betting 1/3psb ott is also an option
PF - std
I like your flop lead, but I would defenitely bet the turn for thin value/protection vs this guy.
Once you check, a very easy XC - from my experience, they stab a lot with most pairs/some random floats.
