Playing two overs and a gutshot on a paired board
20NL 6-max cash.
Effective stack size is 80BB. CO is Loose/passive preflop, somewhat bluffy postflop. I have a somewhat LAG image, but not crazy.
Preflop: Hero has AQo on the BTN. CO limps, Hero raises to 4xBB , CO calls.
Flop: (Pot: 9.5BB) JJT one club. CO checks, I c-bet 1/3 pot, he check-min-raises, I call.
Turn: Pot (22BB) 5c. He checks, I bet 60% pot, he calls.
River: (Pot: 48BB) Kh. He checks, I bet 80% pot, he folds.
Preflop seems fine.
On the flop, I'm c-betting range 1/3 pot. His check-raise doesn't really mean anything. He seems to check-min-raise basically his entire range on a paired board. Don't know why he takes this weird line, but whatever. I'm calling.
Turn, he checks. I still have two overs and a gutshot. Should I just check behind? Probably checking is the better play, since I am ahead of his turn range, but probably not ahead of his check/calling range. But he might fold some better hands like 77 here, so perhaps worth a shot?
On the river, I hit my gutshot. What size should I use? The thing is that I have a TON of value hands here, and they are of varying strengths.
AK, AQ, AJ, KQ, KJ, KT, K9s, QJ, Q9s, JT, AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, 55. All are in my range.
I'm also playing fairly loose on the BTN, so I can have various club FD, 98o (sometimes) and 98s, 97s, 87s. I'm not sure that even if I bluff with everything, I have enough bluffs here.
So should I go for a big size with my value-bets and bluffs? Or choose two different sizes? Don't know, really.
