This post isn't so much around this particular hand but more on constructing flop raising ranges and playing draws.
I pretty much always would be calling this flop but decided to mix it up and raise gii. I'm always a little unsure on how to best construct a balanced flop raising range and am wondering if it's important to include a lot of nut flush draws or combo draws?
I generally like to raise a more polarized range while mixing in some thinner value hands and just calling with the draws and playing our range effectively on future streets.
I always find playing nut flush draws quickly (like this hand) find me in these sort of spots where I get it in flipping at best if it goes in on the flop, winning a small pot on the flop when V folds or end of barelling off my stack on brick turns and rivers which obv isn't ideal.
I'd love to hear thoughts on whether these draws have to be in our raising flop range and if so, to what extent they need to be included.
Any general discussion on flop raising ranges would be really beneficial for me personally and massively appreciated.
Look forward to hearing any ideas / theories - also any good vids that I should watch on this topic would be awesome.
Cheers,
