Hero checks,
UTG bets $3.94,
Hero raises to $10.94,
UTG raises to $24.50,
Hero raises to $97.50, and is all in
So the flop comes low and somewhat co-ordinated / wet. First question here, despite the fact that traditionally people say stuff like "this flop hits our blinds defense range blah blah" if we are calling a range of:
* decent suited broadways
* offsuit strong broadways
* suited aces probably A7s+
* pocket pairs 77+
* connectors like 89s, 9Ts, TJs & maybe 78s sometimes
then basically we are going to have a similar number of hands that hit this flop as the PFR, maybe a few less depending on his preflop tendencies. Add to that the fact that he is going to chk and give up on this flop when he has a hand with no equity like AKo pretty often assuming he isn't a fish, that makes his CB range somewhat stronger, and is goin to be sets, overpairs, some weak TPs, some AXs TPs, big draws with a decent bit of equity, and some weaker draws with maybe a gs and backdoor flush or something similar.
So to CR against this this range its going to be tough b/c villain has a ton of equity most of the time, when he folds he gets away cheaply and when he continues he has position and the chance to win a big pot. So my question here is how do i build a blinds defense CR range vs EP opener since i don't want to be only CRing sets. Whenever i make this play i either win a little or get fucking owned hard :/ Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks John
