Painful AA fold in 3bet pot
BB: $13.70
UTG: $14.21
CO: $10.00
BN: $14.86 (Hero)
BB 26/15 Af 2.3 x/r OOP = 0, FT3bet 100 (3) 145 hands
Rake is $0.37
Co fires at it, and I think he can have a Kx a decent amount of the time. I don't really want to raise here because I think that I`m just going to get a lot of folds by Kx... I have the redraw as well with As, and I limit the number of FDs he might have... I'm also deep with BB so yeah, I don't like raising here.
After BB x/shoves I`m like ... fuck my life I have to fold... I mean, at a first glance (he folded to all previous 3bets) I though he can't really have that many 33 and 44, because I have As he can't really have many draws... if he would be foolish enough to check/shove AK here I'm blocking that a ton so that is unlikely. We started close to 140BB so we are deep... there are two large bets before him and he is jamming.
It is just so strong that I think that he might only have slowplayed KK or 44 and 33.
Do you agree with my though process of the hand?
Do you agree just calling FLOP vs CO`s bet ?
Do you agree folding to the jam, if not what do you think his range looks like?

I agree w/ calling flop, but since you have As, I think you can call the shove too. Sets are not many combos, and I think he will have Kx and some other stuff like QJss, QTss, AK, KQ, KJ, w/ spade.
I don't know, he can't have too many Kx... I`m blocking a ton of AK, he can't have KsXs (because the K of spades is on the flop)... do you think he is just check-jaming vs two opponents QJss, QTss? KQ,KJ with one spade I think would never do this. NFDs he can't have so I pretty much stick to my initial analysis that this is just 33 and 44 so often... and the less likely KK that slowplayed pf.
No way should you ever fold here.He would 4b KK pre, and don't think he flats 33/44 with co still left to act, but he probably always plays AK like this.
We are blocking a bunch of AKs... and I`m not sure he wold check/shove vs two opponents AK with no spades.
(we are close to 140BB`s deep too)
Who really could have a 33-44 is CO, but I put BB only on AK and KK, cant really imagine that he cold calling with suited broadway always from BB and left regs to act. Its likely that he got AK. IMO he would 4bet KK OOP assuming that is already a lot of money preflop.
No way I'm folding this. As SPrince said - I also doubt he flats 33/44 in a spot like this.
I'm pretty happy about calling this one. If the CO would've called then yeah, I'd fold it but now... we're almost never beaten and he COULD be vbetting worse. Just too random of a line to remove all combos of AK out of his range.
There are only 1/2 of them AK combos to begin with. Ok... to many replays saying to snap off the 140BB, will do so in the future, if the opportunity ever shows it self again. I wasn't too upset with the fold, but would be devastated to call see and see just 44 or 33 :)
well at least you know on what you should work in the near future :)
Mindset? :))
Yep, that little thing.
In not folding this either. Even if you block lots of AK combo, he doenst need to have many to make it a +EV call, given that he doesnt have many sets combo in his range.
Im calling here. Its gross if the CO calls the shove, but when he folds im pretty happy calling.
Assuming he only does this with KK/AK we have 64.5% equity against him making this an easy call especially given that we can't assume he doesn't also do this with some combos of spade draws.
Gross but I'm not folding this.
i am folding this also. People tend to call in Spots like this with a lot of pockets! I don think he is ever pushing here AK,KQ,KJ.
