Maybe we can check/call flop. When you bet flop, you actually in pretty messed up turn spot where you need to check/fold almost any card and valuebetting again is thin. And JJo is close to 1,5 streets for value.
Don't we need too much protection to check/call? A,K,Q, all clubs suck OTT and we still have 65% EQ OTF...
that's somewhat a concern. Most monotone boards are way better for caller (IP here), that said we not supposed to be betting range. Overcards are bad for our hand, but not so bad for our range, so I'm not seeing huge problems and don't think our EV will drop a lot when we check.
Dynamic board, if we have 65% otf however many turn cards change it to low number.

You can bet around 15% to 25% pot with most hands if you want to bet for protection on monotone flops OOP. A random hand like KQs no clubs still has to fold against 20% pot (or make a mistake).
Yep that is someting I recently learned in Diego Ramirez's PIO series :)
I don't mind folding. Pretty much any hand with a club is better to continue with than a naked JJ. Checking the flop is also an option.
Like betting flop here better than checking. Betting smaller, like 1/3 pot, with the combos without the club might be more ideal. He is going to fold less often when you bet smaller, but he will continue with more pocket pairs with a club that you dominate since he will have the FD.
Think you played the hand quite well to be honest.
Is 3b-ing PF JJ Bb vs Mp (unknown) in HU (all folded) standard?
Yeah pretty standard, TT is more of a call already though.
I find it difficult to build a good range and play well 3b pots vs MP from the blinds (esp unknown). But I would 3b vs Co for sure.
Given that we are going to play it HU anyway and I don't know villain I would probably just call here.
Would just calling here just lose some value or it would be very bad? And I should go with a general rule of 3b JJ+ always?
Honestly, I'm not sure. I can't imagine it being a terrible mistake to just call but don't quote me on that. Probably not a big deal though.
I like your flop cbet and size... I think villain is going to call often, fold often and raise very rarely... unlucky spot imo...
Also, it's pretty good to fold OTF than to fold to likely further aggression on later streets, nh imo
Your flop sizing on mono board is off, you mainly want to be betting 25ish% pot, or check, on this exact board I think u should be decently high frequency cbetting. As played easy fold
You have only one size here?
Having more wont add any significant ev
I understand the theory behind your reasoning, but don't you think at NL25 we should play in a more exploitable way? Imho we can bet half pot and target draws and Tx and reevaluate OTT.
Just checked it, EV using 2 sizings: 272.5, EV using 25% only: 271.7. And JJ don't even fit in a bigger sizing
Don't see any reason for that at all, how we play our hand later when we start bombing on flop? our hand probably should x/f on majority of turns
kalciis ty, what is the total cbet frequency % on this flop with our range?
I gave 1sizing of 50% for OOP, the rare times pio bets in on flop and IP calls, on like brikiest turns we just x/folding JJ w/o club
High, about 80%, we can cbet range and won't lose much ev.
