Not too sure what is happening in this hand with the check-raise. Would this be someone getting more value off a KQ or AQ type of hand? Probably even a bluff. Either way, not entirely sure if I should be calling here or re-raising again and playing as the aggressor. Also now looking back at this, maybe he was going for the flush draw and wanted to be the aggressor? What do you think?

Seems like a brick card and I didn't have position so I checked with the intention to call his raise assuming it wouldn't be too large. Should I have lead out here and gone for fold equity+value for open ended straight draw?

Also what should I do at the micros with my A suited flush draws? Assuming I'm either in position or out of positions, is it the type of hand I should be playing similar to flopping trips? That is, should I be firing and check raising on the board? Or just calling down the pot hoping to hit assuming the pot odds are welcoming. Any feedback appreciated, still learning how to think and learn through these hands. Thank you

OTF if u don't have any reads/stats this flop hits his calling range pretty hard and also you are missing it hard without any fd possibilities and only OESD. Also its NL2 so you should play straight forward and just realize your equity by X and on turn if he is still not trying to take the pot I would bet small like 40-44% of pot.
As played after big bet on flop and his click raise i find it a lot of times 2p+, OTT its a brick so I'm just x/b to realize my equity, OTR not improved just fold
Your oponents probably don't think like this but you should start thinking about ranges not about single cards and how your range plays vs his on particular board and what every decision says about his range. I usually don't like playing draws OOP becouse i can't control the pot so i rather 3b them (obv depends on positions that we are and the guy we are 3betting)
Could you direct me towards how to start thinking in ranges correctly? I get the idea that e.g a raise preflop would indicate a certain sample of starting hands, and calls on the later street would indicate they have hit a piece of the board, just not sure how to apply this thinking correctly when I play and review my hands. Thanks!
Firstly watch some videos about building opening / 3bet ranges then when you rewiev your hand just open equilab and on every street try to give him a range and then compare if u have odds for call or bet / or you have to fold. Its hard on start becouse you have to play many hands but after some time you will see that its easier to read what your oponent may have in the spot
I think you played it fine. You need fold equity to play aggressively, and I'm not sure if you have a lot of that at any point, so I like the passive approach on the flop and on the turn, realizing the equity and trying to hit a hand.
Nice play. I would go for the draw as well. I would of been more comfortable if I had a high pair on the turn. But a free check card on the river is nice to see for a oesd.
I love the no-bet ott. He's not usually going to just fold turn after check raising flop. If he checks again on the river you could bluff and rep a pot controlled top pair very credibly.
good idea. thanks!
