5/5 live fullring NL, eff. stacks 1k

I open QQ to 20 utg, recreational player who is kinda spewy but not clueless calls in early position, young kid who I suspect is decent but not too aggro/creative calls in late position, others fold.

First question: cbet or check? This is a bad flop for my UTG range so checking seems like a reasonable range play, but in my experience check-calling overpairs on these boards doesn't work out that awesome, since we are pretty face up and let our opponents realize their equity, and also bluff/value bet quite well against us. Maybe it's the best of bad options though. Maybe also that doesn't matter so much against weaker players and I should just be betting for value. Anyway, in the hand I check.

Spewy guy bets 50, kid calls, I?

At this point calling seems really face-up and doesn't play well, but check-raising builds a huge pot in a spot where, if stacks go in, I'm probably in deep trouble. Thoughts?
