OOP with a draw, general question about ranges/strat
http://weaktight.com/6684972 villain 35/29/10 over 48 hands
More than just this hand, I'm interested in discussing strategies for playing boards like this OOP, specifically with draws. What are people doing with different parts of their range and why? I don't like the x/c, x/c line hoping to hit, because villain always has a chance to check back rivers that complete...
-We'll get value from worse draws when we hit, but villain also can probably profitably bluff these whenever we don't hit.
-When he bets, bets, he's uncapped and we are repping a condensed medium range with some draws.
-A c/r can fold out some of his middle range hands, but then we have to have a good plan for maintaining aggression against a range that includes mostly only strong pairs and worse draws. So, if we c/r the flop and the turn bricks, what is our plan? This seems like a bad spot to be in. One advantage of this is that we then have the polarized range and he becomes condensed...but it feels like being condensed OOP is way worse.
thanks for the thoughts
