This hand is just odd. I have a gigantic range advantage on this board and didnt expect to get raised for nearly 4x ever. Am i just getting it in here ? He

I do not see recreational players behind; then he shudn't have value raising combo here(44-55,A5-4s) but not everyone has a balanced range.
Even having said so; if ur gonna jam w/ AK+ here, i think u shud jam with ur hand as well.
I would just call vs a nit - I don't think he's bluffing here(terrible board/spot to do so, and even if, we dominate his draws, which is a good thing. Also, when we bet/call, I doubt he's gonna fire a lot of turns, simply because we look like Ax a ton, especially when he has a worse FD - blockers, so there's a good chance we get our hand to SD or bink a club and get dem moniez.
Those nits they tend to overvalue pairs preflop, so he can easily have 44/55 in his range (most good regs won't have it in their flatting range COvMP without a fish behind, so keep that in mind if you come across a spot like this vs a reg in the future).
Actually someone w/ stat 18/13/5(nit). I see lots of 55-44 here. I tend to think nits have narrower range than regs, but they have more PP; which i recently found out.
Read my post again. :p
I said the exact same thing, basically. ;D
that wasnt an argument. it was a concurrence.
+1 to just calling. He's a nit so he's likely not bluffing too much + we block some bluffs.
Easy call
In first, i think i just sit out this table... why to play a table full of reg or nit ?
In second, on this kind of table K9s on MP is too loose for open imo.
And the flop, nothing else to do than call. There is not inoff draws and bluff in vilain range for make the jam EV+ imo.
And on the turn :
- if we not hit, i probably just x/f (depend on his bet sizing, that just math)
- if we hit, i think to DB here. He will c/b to often his DP and set imo.
Sorry for my english. I'm french... ^^
this is a zoom table. And i dont think he very likely going to check back turn with a value hand if the flush hits. I have lots of offsuit aces that will call flop with bdfd and i should be weighted massively towards tpgk anyways.
