Turn stab is too wide. You don't have to stab every time you pick up equity. You have showdown value here vs Ax that will fold vs a turn bet, so you need to keep that in.
River bet is not balanced and forces your opponent to fold some combos of Ax straights, which is about half his range, and the other half being flushes better than yours. Your bet size is exploiting most 5nl players who can't ever fold an Ax here. A more balanced bet size is would be a small raise, and folding to a jam.
Why would you not want to bet OTT? We could get worse SDV from villain to fold (44-88), get value from straightdraws like Ax/Jx or stronger FDs he decided to check back. Villain in my experience then also mostly ends up checking to us when missed and we can check back if our FD missed, unless were playing an aggro vil, then this might suck a bit since we will have unnecessarily made his bluff more profitable.

As played, I liked your river strat
Defending 36s is a bit too wide imo for Nl5. Either 3bet in position or move on.
Turn should be a check. Problem here is that by the river you removed a lot of his Ax combos,
Against a competent player bet fold would the right play on the river.
JamesYang would you mind elaborating on the river sizing? We are already betting 1/3 of pot. What would you make that?
I think for NL5 I would go bigger and exploit most NL5 who cant find a fold.
sb lead 1/3 and hero raised like 10x, i would min raise
also defending 36s is fine, its like 0.02 ev or something marginal, but its still positive so your better off defending and learning how to play it
JamesYang Thanks for the input. Good point on playing to learn.
