NL5z - Facing a Click Back on the Turn?

Blinds: $0.02/$0.05 (6 Players) BN: $12.68 (Hero)
SB: $1.39
BB: $4.54
UTG: $5.32
MP: $6.01
CO: $6.18
Preflop ($0.07) Hero is BN with J A
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.10, SB calls $0.08, BB folds
Flop ($0.25) T 8 A
SB bets $0.10, Hero calls $0.10
Turn ($0.45) T 8 A T
SB checks, Hero bets $0.23, SB raises to $0.50, Hero calls $0.27
Check back turn and give his drawing hands a free card? Once he clicks it back can I just shove?... Don't see short stacks do this with draws very often think his range is heavily weighted towards Tx.
River ($1.45) T 8 A T 2
SB bets $0.69 and is all in, Hero folds
Folding here given the price seems criminal but I just don't see the short stack having any bluffs here although a very small possibility that he overvalues a worse Ax. It's silly spots like this that leave me very lost sometimes, any help appreciated :)
Final Pot SB wins $1.39
Rake is $0.06

I would bet bigger preflop and also raise on the flop to get value and protect from draws. He is so short to start with. As played I would call the river…

Preflop is alright. you can go either way large or small but larger is probably slightly better with casual ss in sb.

You could check back turn. Drawing range gets free card also needs to bluff river if it misses more often than not. Getting check-raised with your combo sucks a bit there. But 3 streets of value is fine against a player who has every single combo of Ax in his range. So imo do whatever you want here.

Easy call otr.
