NL5z AJo BU v BB in 3B pot: played too strong / weak?

V is 22/19/8 after 30ish hands only.

What's my line here and where does my thinking go wrong?

PF, is 4B/fold an option? Didn't really consider it then..

In my limited understanding, this flop hits us harder or is at least equalizing V's and our range and I raised V's small range bet OTF to not let him lay himself the right odds for all draws, charge them properly and see where we are at.

I feel V's call OTF is quite strong, so after Q for flush and straight draws hit OTT and V could very well still hold QQ+, I elect to check. Or should we jam for our Jd which gives us still some equity in many situation when we are behind?

V's shove OTR was looking too strong to call, given that we as well could have value raised JJ/88/(55) or semi-bluff raised with a flush draw/T9s and elected to trap OTT. At the same time, don't we have to call here with SPTK? I still can't see too many hands which V turns into a bluff but at the same time wonder if we have enough bluff catchers in our range if we fold that. Bit lost..

Imo 4B/F or preferable straight fold are the better options pre.
Even though villains range might be whider in this spot, i still expect a decent linear range here that AJo performs really poor against, even ip.
As played: like your line postflop. Probably a board that gets cbet too whide and vs this sizing i like raising and shutting down; esp after this turn.

Preflop I think calling is fine IP and when he makes a small sqz. He can sqz with some weaker hands. If you 4bet he will fold some hands that you dominate. OTF I think that I'm just calling, dont know if its bad or not, but I dont think that this flop hits us that well. We maybe have a set advantage because we assume he never sqz with 55. As played I think I would play it like you, I dont like the idea of shoving the turn, we turn a good showdown value hand into a bluff.

Cheers all!

On folding PF:
Even against a very tight BB 3B range of TT+, ATs+, AQo+, KQs we have around 33% equity at almost exactly these pot odds IP.
Also, assuming we would only open really tight on BU with 22+, Axs, K/Q/J/T9s+, A/K/Q/JTo+, 76s+, if we fold AJo we would not defend more than a third of our opening range, so not meeting our MDF.

Based on that, I do not see a fold pre here. Or is there anything I'm missing?
