I do not 3bet fish with pocket pairs and position, vs fish i want to flop the set and push money in.As played,On the flop i think i check this specific hand, just because the oop player on this type of board will defend by raising very often and put me on a hell of a spot, when he does this shove i think its a fold and a snap one, you even have the sets in your range, and some made straights i guess. As for the hands, depends on the player, sets straights and a lot of flush draws would be my guess. some very weak players doing that with 99-QQ but thats very rare and you need a solid read, its the exception not the rule.
vs nothing scary vs raise(if it is too big we fold, I didnt my bad mistake), and our 77 needs protection/value vs overcards.
I don't really mind 3 betting a weaker player with pocket 7s but I prefer button v co or blinds v btn. Mid position range I prefer to flat. As played I prefer to check flop we have several good turns and a pretty disguised range.
If I had to assign a range to a random unknown in this spot, it would be hands that love their immediate spot but are TERRIFIED of 'scary' later streets.
Something like 99, TT, Pair + SD
3bet pre is standard, these trolls who are saying it's not a 3bet are morons, just to be clear, 3bet is fine. that is all....
I never said that 3bet is not fine, i just said that this is the way i play it.It could be wrong but i am here to learn like the most of us.
i fold
bet or check on the flop (size isnt matter 1/3 or 1/2) heavily depends on villian strategy according to PIO. Think standard fish(zoom games) more passive, and take passive lines then aggressive we get tiny bit of EV by betting, which in big spot more or so deal.
