Is there any different way to play the hand? jamming turn seemed somewhat thin/I'd expect him to fold AK.
River sucks, I dont think he has that many Tx combos, but I dont see people bluffing here either.
What do you guys think?
thanks

Well played, I would play it the same way most of the time. Shoving turn doesn't have that many benefits since when you call, you have less than a pot left on the river and you are IP, so you will get the money in for sure if that is what you want. Also, passive approach is good for your range since your calling range is already pretty weak compared to villains calling range, if you raise this you never have a set on the river when you call flop and turn.
We should not have raising ranges on the flop or on the turn in general (correct me if I'm wrong, but makes sense to me).
Agreed, but vs this guy, I think we can just exploitively raise the flop - we have a ton of draws, we don't block TP, which aren't bet/folding anyway, we build the pot, protect our equity, and it's easier to get the money in. (there are gonna be some bad runouts, like this exact one, where we can't get value from worse hands, but are ahead of a decent amount)
But yeah, std, gg, wp.
Well played! I don't like raising flop or turn here. If he looked a little more fishier I would raise the flop.
I'd raise the flop, i think he'll continue with AK (via shipping or calling) and he'll continue with AA and QQ as well. But, there 16 combo's of AK and only 12 combo's of AA,QQ so raising to get the money in seems more than +EV
Of course it is +ev to get it in. The question is whether it is more +ev than playing passively.
I think this is a great hand to slowplay on this board. For one we don't block any of his bluffs. Also we have a nutted hand on a board where our range is going to be much weaker than his. I think this should be our standard line and if we want to deviate from this then that's ok. But I wouldn't deviate from the standard line unless I had reason to and here we have none. The guy is an unknown. Everything about him is unknown. Saying raising is higher ev is speculation, making a lot of assumptions about him and his range and we're running on almost no information here.
well played by op imo.
very bad played ! FLOP raise to $12. and all-in In turn.
I don't think he actually has that many Tx in his range but lot of 2pr combos that are probably shoving with so small spr on river so if villain is playing all his AK AQ AJ combos this way I don't see myself folding ever here, snap call
What do you guys think villains range looks like here for folding river?
I'd doubt he's cbetting that big with the QQ at a high frequency, I even don't think he would ever do it, neither the KK. So basically we're getting overset by AA,JJ, and got beaten by some KTs combos and some AT, but I also doubt he's going that big on flop and firing 2 streets on this runout but I may be wrong. Anyway, lets see our equity against differents ranges on the river
77 vs AA,JJ,AJs+,AJo+ --> 81%
77 vs AA,JJ,ATs+,KTs,ATo+ --> 56%
77 vs AA,JJ,ATs+,KTs,T9s,ATo+ --> 52%
Sets in nlhe are very strong hands !
