I don't think anything about preflop is especially remarkable.

So, I'm running this hand by the RIO community but I'm also looking at GTO+. According to GTO+, OOP is betting one-third-pot with range here (and with good reason: it's a pretty nothing-ish flop in a 3BP so preflop equities should retain more often than not).
I decided to protect against overcards; nothing too remarkable I don't think?
Including this pot, villain has cbet in a 3bet pot 3/9 times. Their cbet is generally fairly low and not especially positionally aware: 44% IP, 29% OOP.

I figured 9x wasn't an especially significant card for either of us... but I guess I was wrong?
I just find villain's line borderline indefensible and I'm not sure how to even node-lock for it. I was very confused in real-time.
Any ideas for how to either node-lock or play the hand? I have OOP with a range of 88+, QJs+, AJs+, AQo+. My own range I've stipulated to be 22-QQ, 54s+, AQo, suited BW, A9s-A6s. (4betting KK+, AK, A5s.)
Happy for feedback on any aspect of the hand.
