NL50 JJ gets check/raised, is this logic flawed?

HJ: $39.91
CO: $68.72
BN: $50.74 (Hero)
SB: $33.50
BB: $52.35
UTG: $65.04
Villain is one of the better regs at this limit, playing 22/18, raise cbet oop 14%. AFQ 46%. I often have trouble with him. His BB squeeze vs button is pretty high, 17%. Turn bet after raising flop is 77%. Large sample.

He also knows that my cbet % is on the higher side, around 73%, and I open 55% of the buttons.

SB is a 48/25 fish.

Preflop ($0.75) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt J J
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO folds, Hero raises to $1, SB calls $0.75, BB calls $0.50
Flop ($3.00) 7 8 5 (3 Players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $2, SB folds, BB raises to $6.50, Hero raises to $11, BB folds
I think villain is wider than usual here because of the fish, and his range contains lots of suited garbage and gapper low hands. I do think that he squeezes any decent broadway combo due to his high squeeze %, esp. with the fish in the pot. I'm not sure though if his squeeze range contains 88 and 77.

After the fish folds, I think he generally will try to exploit my high cbet % and this is an excellent board for it.

Assuming his range contains a reasonable chunk of air and semibluffs, what are our options here?

Call flop and shove safe turns? Call flop, fold bad turns (which there is a lot)? Or 3bet fold the flop as I did?

I know 3bet/folding seems dodgy, but it ends the hand as it is, and I also look extremetly strong. I don't think it's a big crime to turn our hand into a bluff as our hand can't stand the heat anyways. Thoughts?
Final Pot
Hero wins $15.28
