NL50 HU zoom, confusing boardtexture.

Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 (2 Players) BB: $70.48
SB: $50.00 (Hero)
Preflop ($0.75) Hero is SB with 8 8
BB raises to $1.00, Hero calls $0.50
Flop ($2.00) 7 7 7
Hero checks, BB bets $1.29, Hero calls $1.29
Turn ($4.58) 7 7 7 T
Hero checks, BB bets $3.19, Hero calls $3.19
River ($10.96) 7 7 7 T Q
Hero checks, BB bets $8.16, Hero calls $8.16

Villain is an unknown reg.
I realized that I have no idea how to approach this boardtexture from a theory perspective.
Seems like this hand is a snap call and I just have to hope that villain realizes that this is an awesome bluffrunout for him that he should be barreling a ton.
I'm more interested in how I should be dealing with these spots with very heavy range inbalances with my whole range.
It seems like very extreme flop in favor of the raiser (atleast when looking at the nut and near nut hands), then a good turn card for him and a good river. I was 3betting all of my AT combos pre, so I think I have no or close to no tens on the turn and no Q for the river. Both of which he can easily hit with a significant part of his range.

So how should I aproach this texture in theory? Is defending way less than 1-A on the flop and probably also turn a good strategy? Maybe its also a good exploit against people that tend to go crazy in these spots, maybe size big and never give up with any bluff? I would guess villain can bet bigger than this and barrel very often and theres not much I can do, as all I have is the very limited amount of quads that I always slowplay. Then he has around 88-AA, Tx,Qx that lose to only quads and then the quads that he has more combos than I do.
